We learned a lot about Morocco in general and Tangier. The highlight for the kids was probably the camel ride. However, the kids were never bored and were engaged the entire tour. We spent the entire day with Said, Abdul and the driver touring Tangiers stopping to see the various sections of the city; British, French, Dutch, and California. Yes, Tangiers has a section that looks like Beverly Hills and the houses to go with it!

Next we had an opportunity to ride some camels and then on to downtown Tangiers where we had lunch at a fantastic local restaurant. From there we went shopping in the Medina section inside the Kasbah. This is the old section of Tangiers where you can find exotic spices, perfumes, pottery, jewelry, etc. Said took us to places where he knew the prices and values were good.
I would like to give special thanks to Abdul who was providing the history of the city he loves. He added so much to our experience with his knowledge, whit, warmth and quick humor that made this trip so special. Said made sure everything was working perfectly, Abdul supplied the color commentary and the driver made the trip smooth and comfortable.

There is so much more I could add but in summary this is the only way to truly see, understand and enjoy the beautiful city of Tangiers. Thank you Said, Abdul and Driver.
