He was raised in the Medina, so many locals greeted him warmly and that welcoming feel was transferred to us, not only during the tour but for days following whenever we walked around by ourselves. Hamid was a very open person happy to discuss any topic and give insights on his country and culture and also with a good sense of humour. All in all, a great experience which really helped us settle quickly into the swing of Tangier.
